The area north of Perth has a rich history amongst the Scot''s. A rich and fertile land in it''s lower levels gave berth to the region becoming one of the most prosperous areas in Scotland in days of old. This fertile land soon gives way to rocky precipises and jaggedy outcrops covered in Douglas fir, Sitka spruce and the odd deciduous to add in to the mix.
The SDA series kicks off this weekend and what a first round, DUNKELD, for those that have raced there before will know that this is probably one of the toughest tracks in the country to race on and the top section is legend! Here is a clip for the 06 Scottish Champs, it doesnt really show how steep and tech it is but you will get an idea.
